Aconcagua 360
The Roof of the Americas
Aconcagua 360° Route
The 360° Route is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and interesting ways to climb Aconcagua. As its name suggests, this route offers the opportunity to circumnavigate the mountain, entering through the Vacas Valley (Plaza Argentina) and descending through the Horcones Valley (Plaza de Mulas). This allows mountaineers to experience the contrasting landscapes and see two completely different sides of the Colossus of America.
This expedition lasts 18 days, ensuring excellent acclimatization with a progressive ascent plan and additional days to prevent setbacks due to weather. Taking the Vacas Valley route, we enter a less-traveled area, surrounded by glaciers and striking landscapes, before converging on the high-altitude camps towards the long-awaited summit at 6,961 m.

DAY 1 Mendoza Meeting
On the first day of our program we meet in the city of Mendoza, do an equipment check, and make sure we have everything we need for the coming days in the mountains. If necessary, we will go rent equipment, accompanied by our guides. Then we will share a Meeting with the rest of the participants to clear up any doubts about what our expedition to the Colossus will be.
DAY 2 Mendoza – Pampa de Leñas
We depart early from the city of Mendoza and head in our private transport to Aconcagua Provincial Park. Upon arrival, we organize our loads with the mules and begin our trek to the Pampa de Leñas camp (2800m).

On our second day at this altitude we will prepare to carry food to camp 1, food that we will use in the coming days of stay in the high camps. This day will be very important for our acclimatization as we will touch a new altitude and all our mechanisms of accommodation to the altitude will wake up again. We return to the base camp to spend the night in our comfortable tents.
DAY 7 Rest & Acclimatization at Plaza Argentina
